Elena Rico

Elena Rico is a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with a robust background in developing scalable systems using microservices architecture and Kubernetes deployment automation. Currently at Toast since January 2022, prior positions include Senior Software Engineer at Bandwidth Inc. and Senior Software Developer at Deutsche Bank, where complex data processing and web application development were key responsibilities. Earlier experience encompasses leading verification activities for the GP7200 aircraft engine project at GE Aviation, software validation in compliance with FAA standards, and web application development at IBM and GE Aviation. Elena also contributed to graphics visualization research at North Carolina State University and holds a B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering from the Technological Institute of Queretaro.
