John Duggan

John Duggan is an experienced software development professional with a diverse background in engineering and web development. Currently serving as a Senior Developer Advocate at Toast since January 2018, John has held various roles within the company, including Developer Advocate and Principal API Integrations Specialist. Prior to this, John gained experience as a Junior Ruby on Rails Developer at Luggage Forward and as a Jr. Full-Stack Web Developer at Launch Academy, where foundational skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, and Ruby on Rails were developed. John’s engineering background includes roles as Project Engineer at Weston & Sampson and Gale Associates, Inc., focusing on stormwater management and sewer rehabilitation projects. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of New Hampshire and a Master's in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University.
