Sandra Lopez Leon M.D. Fispe

Sandra Lopez Leon MD PhD FISPE is a seasoned pharmacoepidemiologist with a focus on neuropsychiatry and gene therapies, serving as Director at Novartis since October 2008. In addition to this role, Sandra is a member of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology, an adjunct faculty member at Rutgers University, and holds the title of Distinguished Toastmaster at Toastmasters International. Sandra also contributes as an Associate Editor for BioMed Central Research Notes. With a robust educational background including a PhD in Psychiatric/Genetic Epidemiology from Erasmus University Rotterdam, Sandra has held previous roles as a scientific researcher in genetic epidemiology and as a general practitioner specializing in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
