Jim Tignor, MSOT, OTR, is a skilled professional with extensive experience in assistive technology and sales development. Currently serving as Regional Market Director at Tobii Dynavox since December 2017, Jim Tignor oversees sales initiatives in a designated area while providing training and support. Prior to this role, Jim Tignor contributed to sales growth as a Sales Consultant, focusing on promoting speech-generating devices. Earlier positions include serving as the Assistive Technology Team Coordinator for Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools and as an Assistive Technology Specialist for Durham Public Schools, where Jim Tignor developed and implemented technology interventions to support student learning. Additionally, Jim Tignor has a passion for art, creating portraits and sculptures that depict meaningful human experiences and transforming natural materials into bicycle art. Jim Tignor holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University, among other qualifications.
