John Hiestand

John Hiestand is a versatile professional with a strong background in software engineering, investment, education, and research. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at TOC Logistics International, INC., John has developed an internal planning dashboard leveraging Python, SQL, JavaScript, and Vue.js. As a self-employed investor, John has successfully applied knowledge of behavioral economics and climate change policy to manage a diversified investment portfolio that has significantly outperformed the Dow Jones Industrial Average. John has also created and managed a profitable website, OnElectricCars.com, where expertise in content creation and client negotiations was demonstrated. Previous teaching roles include Head Secondary Science Teacher at CSIS International School and Middle School Science Teacher at Soojung Global Vision School, during which John developed engaging STEM curricula.
