Marjoris Pirela

Marjoris Pirela has a diverse work experience in the fields of art direction, graphic design, illustration, and teaching. Marjoris is currently working as an Artist at Toca Boca since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Rising Insurance Star Executives (RISE) as an Art Direction and Graphic Design professional from February 2021 to September 2022.

Marjoris also served as an Illustrator at BABIDI-Bú Editorial infantil y juvenil from November 2020 to August 2022 and as a Freelance Illustrator at Cáprica Ediciones from October 2020 to December 2021. Their freelance illustration work includes roles at Loc&Capture Media Services from December 2019 to December 2021 and at Malian Editora from July 2020 to October 2020.

Marjoris Pirela has a background in education as well. Marjoris worked as an Academic Director at Coco Escuela Europea para la Comunicación y las Artes Visuales from August 2015 to November 2020. Additionally, they served as a Graphic Design, Illustration, and Concept Art Instructor at the same institution from February 2013 to November 2020.

Prior to that, Marjoris Pirela worked as a Graphic Designer and Web Development Freelancer, specializing in graphic design, from November 2012 to 2016. Marjoris also worked as a Graphic Designer at ANGEL'S USA in 2010 and as an Illustration Instructor at Creativos, Club de Aprendizaje from August 2006 to August 2010.

Marjoris Pirela completed their Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Zulia University, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Marjoris then pursued a Double Specialization in 2D and 3D Animation, as well as a Master's degree in Illustration with traditional and digital media at Coco School from 2011 to 2012.
