The Tocqueville Foundation, created by Jean-Guillaume de Tocqueville, is devoted to promoting Alexis de Tocqueville’s unique vision of democracy and the rights and responsibilities of all members of society. It has a special focus on France and Europe in a global world.

We believe that civil society needs to be involved in solving societal issues and fostering a global dialogue to promote innovation in citizenship and philanthropy. When acting together, individuals can better address issues and build a sustainable social equity for future generations.
