Chief Products Officer/Co-Founder at Toffee Insurance

Nishant Jain has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Nishant is currently the Chief Products Officer and Co-Founder of Toffee Insurance, where they are revolutionizing the way Millennials perceive and purchase insurance. Prior to this, Nishant founded Design For Use in 2005, serving as the CEO and focusing on creating user-centered design solutions for various clients such as Whole Foods Market and HP.

In addition, Nishant has held the position of Partner Design at Faircent.com, India's largest P2P lending platform, where they led the UX Design practice and later transitioned to a design advisor role. Nishant was also a Partner Design at Doctore, a platform making medical diagnostics more accessible, where they were responsible for visualizing and designing the end-to-end patient journey.

Nishant has been actively involved in mentoring and advising startups through Investopad, TLabs, SAIF, and other platforms, as well as speaking at startup conferences. Nishant also co-curated a design community in Delhi, organizing monthly Design Day events.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Nishant held various senior positions in companies such as SBC (now AT&T), where they led web strategy and worked on projects like UVerse, and Prodigy Communications, where they were a Senior Information Architect and contributed to the design of tabbed browsing.

Additionally, Nishant worked at Scient, one of the first eConsulting agencies, as a Senior Information Architect, playing a vital role in assisting traditional businesses in their transition to the web.

Nishant's work experience also includes leadership roles in the non-profit sector, specifically with the Association for India's Development, where they served as Chapter President and played a key role in establishing and expanding chapters focused on raising awareness and funds for social causes in India from the USA.

Throughout their career, Nishant has demonstrated a strong focus on user-centered design, data-centric processes, and creating engaging interfaces. Nishant'sexpertise in various industries and their experience as a mentor and advisor make him a valuable asset in any organization.

Nishant Jain attended Delhi College of Engineering from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction (School of Information) from the University of Michigan between 1996 and 1998.
