Alex worked as a web app developer at Oxford University, and achieved both an MSc in Computing and a PhD in Computational Social Dynamics from Imperial College London, with a specialty in simulation of social dynamics in networks. Whilst studying for their Ph.D., they were a teaching scholar and taught software development practices, and they have brought their skills and knowledge with them to the software engineering team.
