Joel Kimmel

Joel Kimmel has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Beginning in 2005, they worked as a Research Scientist II at the University of Colorado at Boulder until 2008. In 2006, they joined Aerodyne Research as a Principal Scientist and held this position until 2018. In 2008, they also started working at TOFWERK, where they initially served as a Project Manager until 2015. From 2015 to 2021, they held the position of Head of Global Sales and Marketing at TOFWERK. In 2016, they became the President of TOFWERK USA. Currently, they are the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at TOFWERK. Additionally, Joel Kimmel has also been a Board Member at Exum Instruments since 2020.

Joel Kimmel completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at Colorado State University from 1995 to 1999. Joel then pursued a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry at Stanford University from 1999 to 2004. In 2002, they briefly attended Uppsala University to study Analytical Chemistry.
