Derek C. is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in leading cybersecurity initiatives across various organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Security at Together AI, Derek is dedicated to safeguarding the future of AI development. Previously, as Advisory CISO and CISO at Eagle Eye Networks, Derek developed and executed a global information security strategy. Additional roles include member of the Management Board at ACoD, advisor positions at Axiado Corporation, Invary, MyNeotrust, and Spyderbat, and adjunct faculty at Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service. With prior experience as Head of Infrastructure Security at Cloudflare and Staff Security Architect at eBay, Derek brings a wealth of knowledge in critical areas such as zero trust architecture, blockchain security, and automated security solutions. Derek holds an M.Sc in Cybersecurity from Purdue University and a B.Sc in Organizational Leadership from East Texas A&M University.
