Samuel Boyd

Samuel Boyd has a diverse work experience in the financial and automotive industry. Samuel started their career as a Sales Consultant at LANDMARK CHRYSLER-PLYMOUTH in 1997, where they received Gold level sales certification. Samuel then worked at Community Credit Company as a Credit Manager, coordinating financial solutions for marginal credit applicants and handling credit checks and collections.

Boyd joined Wells Fargo Home Mortgage as a Senior Buyer and later became a B/C Specialist Mortgage Consultant, promoting residential first mortgages and brokering residential mortgage loans. Samuel also worked at National Bank of Commerce as a Dealer Finance Officer, where they originated and underwrote loan applications from automobile dealers.

At Fifth Third Bank, Boyd served as an Officer/Dealer Development Representative, managing business relationships with automobile dealers and consulting on improving business opportunities. Samuel then joined Vatterott College as a Financial Aid Administrator, assisting students with the financial aid process and coordinating Title IV programs.

Boyd continued their career at Vatterott College, taking up various roles including Director of Education/Business Management Program Director and Business Management Program Director/Interim Director of Distance Education. In these roles, they provided academic advisement, career counseling, and faculty leadership, and managed overall branch operations.

At Nicholas Financial Inc., Boyd worked as a Branch Manager, responsible for collection activities, dealer development, and overall branch management. Samuel also obtained subprime loan business from automobile retailers through cold-calling and networking activities.

Boyd then joined Crescent Bank & Trust as a Dealer Relations Officer, establishing and maintaining relationships with automobile retailers, reviewing loan applications, and determining the creditworthiness of applicants.

Currently, Boyd is employed at Together Credit Union as a Senior Auto Finance Representative, where they are responsible for automobile dealer relationship management, promoting the credit union brand, and cultivating new auto finance relationships.

Samuel Boyd has a diverse education history. Samuel pursued their higher education in various institutions. From 2002 to 2005, Samuel attended Webster University and obtained a Master of Business Administration degree, specializing in Business Administration. Prior to that, they attended Fontbonne College from 1989 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing. Samuel also attended Saint Louis Community College at Florissant Valley, where they pursued an Associate in Arts degree in Business Administration, although the specific dates of their attendance are not provided. In addition to their formal education, Samuel has obtained a certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Leadership Academy for Financial Professionals from AACUC in February 2022.
