Product Designer at Toggl

Janika Mandel has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of design. Janika started their career as a Layout Designer at Technical Translation Centre in 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Age Creative, creating visuals for various clients including L’Oréal and Maybelline. Following that, they freelanced as a UX, UI, and Graphic Designer for non-profit and profit businesses, collaborating with start-ups and IT companies from 2011 to 2015.

In 2014, Janika joined Workshare as a Junior UI Designer and gradually took on the roles of UI Designer and Product Designer. Janika'sresponsibilities included creating visually engaging designs for web, mobile, and desktop applications, as well as conducting user research and competitor analysis to ensure user-centered designs. Janika worked in cross-functional teams and collaborated with various stakeholders to develop a great user experience.

Janika then joined Twill in 2017 as a UX Designer, focusing on enabling small and medium businesses to transport their products across the ocean with ease. Janika worked in a fast-paced start-up environment, tackling new tasks and challenges to bring visibility and simplicity to the logistics industry. In 2018, they transitioned to the role of Product Designer at Twill.

Most recently, Janika Mandel joined Toggl in 2019 as a Product Designer. Toggl is a time tracking tool that helps freelancers, consultants, and small to medium-sized companies gain insights into their productivity and billing. Janika contributes to the development of the web, mobile, and desktop versions of Toggl, as well as integrating the tool with other productivity tools. Overall, they have acquired valuable experience in various design roles, with a focus on user experience and product design.
