Hirotsugu Takizawa

Hirotsugu Takizawa is Executive Vice President for Education and Student Support, and also Director of the Institute for Excellence in Higher Education of Tohoku University.

He received his Ph.D. in Engineering from Tohoku University in 1990. He joined the School of Engineering, Tohoku University as Research Associate and engaged in the research on highpressure synthesis and crystal chemistry of inorganic compounds.
