Warrick Matthews

Warrick Matthews is the Chief Executive Officer at Tokamak Energy since February 2023, having previously held multiple senior leadership roles at Rolls-Royce from September 1998 to December 2022. These roles include Chief Procurement Officer, where accountability for direct spend in Civil Aerospace Operations was established, and Executive Vice President in various capacities overseeing global procurement and supply chain operations. Matthews played key roles in the development of Rolls-Royce’s Control Systems and was instrumental in the merger of Aero Engine Controls and OSyS into a unified business. Earlier positions include Head of Trent Engine Production and significant roles in operations and program delivery. Educational qualifications include a BA in International Management and Business Administration from the University of Reading and studies at Université Toulouse - Jean Jaurès.
