Burak Turun

Burak Turun has a work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Burak is currently employed at Token Financial Technologies as a Front-end Developer since February 2021. In this role, they work on core projects utilizing TypeScript, Material UI, and Formik, and has successfully developed the developer site using React.js.

Prior to their current position, Burak worked at Schneider Electric as an Automation Sales Engineer from September 2018 to February 2021. Before that, they were at Vestel International, where they held the position of Product Specialist (Professional Displays) from September 2016 to September 2018. Burak also participated in the Management Trainee Program at Vestel International, where they were selected as one of the 20 trainees out of 7000 applicants. During this program, they took courses in economics, finance, and management from the Graduate School of Business at Koç University from October 2016 to March 2017.

Burak Turun started their education in 2011 at Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Burak completed this program in 2016. In 2013, Burak also attended UCLA, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 2014.

Later, in 2017, Burak joined Koç University and pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Their specialization during this time was in Technology & Innovation Management, although the specific field of study is not mentioned.

Burak has obtained several additional certifications to enhance their skillset. In October 2020, they earned the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft. Furthermore, in April 2020, they completed the Data Science Professional Certificate and the IBM Data Science Specialization, both of which were obtained from Coursera.
