Sebnem Tantan Akbas

Sebnem Tantan Akbas has extensive work experience in various roles related to quality, sustainability, environmental management, and engineering. Sebnem started their career in 1993 as an Environmental Engineer at the Ministry of Environment, where they worked until 1996.

In 1997, they joined Beko Elektronik A.Ş., where they held roles as a Specialist in Quality Systems & EHS and also worked as an Environmental Engineer until 2009.

From 2009 to 2019, Sebnem worked at Arçelik Global, starting as a Senior Specialist in Management Systems, EHS, and Lead Auditor. Later, they became a Senior Leader in Environmental Management for Abroad Plants within the same company.

Currently, Sebnem is the Head of Quality & Sustainability at Token Financial Technologies, starting in 2023. The specific start and end dates for their roles within the company are not provided.

Sebnem Tantan Akbas attended İstanbul Şehremini High School until 1987. Sebnem then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering at İstanbul Technical University from 1987 to 1991. Later, they continued their education at İstanbul Technical University and completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in the Graduate Schools of Science Engineering and Technology in 1995.
