Franklin (Ben) Tuttle has extensive experience in the insurance industry, specifically in the marine sector. Franklin (Ben) started their career in 1987 at Atlantic Mutual Insurance Company, where they worked as an Ocean Cargo Trainee before becoming an underwriter in the Chicago office. During their time at Atlantic Mutual, they gained expertise in Hull & Marine Liabilities and Inland Marine. In 2000, Tuttle joined Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty as a Marine Underwriting Manager. Franklin (Ben) worked there for 12 years before moving to International Marine Underwriters of One Beacon Insurance in 2012. At One Beacon, Tuttle served as the Regional President for the East Region, overseeing underwriting, strategy, and marketing in 17 states until 2016. Currently, they hold a position at Tokio Marine America, where they have served as the Senior Vice President - Commercial Marine since April 2019, after holding various other roles within the company since 2017.
Franklin (Ben) Tuttle obtained their Bachelor's degree in History, with a focus on Economics, from Denison University. This educational milestone was achieved between the years 1983 and 1987. Later on, they pursued further academic advancement and completed their Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Risk Management at the University of North Texas, where they attended from 1995 until 2000.
