Michael Maxwell Carter

Michael Maxwell Carter is a seasoned technology entrepreneur and board member with extensive experience in game development and open source software. As the Founder and Board Member of Playco since January 2020, Carter focuses on creating engaging global gaming experiences. Additionally, Carter serves as a Board Member for Toku and StartX, contributing to innovative initiatives like WorkDAO. Prior experience includes founding and leading OSSLine, which aids open source projects with legal resources, and serving as CTO and Founder of Xio Interactive, where Carter directed the development of the multiplayer mobile game “Mino.” Other notable roles include Principal Software Architect at Brand Up and Software Architect at Idealistics. Carter holds a degree from Pomona College.
