Kiew Peng Lau has a diverse work experience in various roles within the customer service and technology industries. Kiew Peng started their career as a Service Engineer at EAC (M) Sdn Bhd in 1995 and then worked as a Telecommunication Engineer at Astro from 1996 to 1998. From 1998 to 2002, they were the Manager of Professional Services at Trisilco IT Sdn Bhd, where they managed project teams and drove sales activities. After that, they joined Scicom MSC Sdn Bhd as a Consultant, where they played a key role in identifying new market strategies and designing contact center outsourcing solutions for customers. From 2004 to 2010, Kiew Peng Lau worked at Fusion Comm Solution Sdn Bhd as a Senior Consultant and later as the General Manager, focusing on sales and solution architecture for workforce optimization solutions. Starting in 2010, they became the Director of Solution Consulting at Jebsen & Jessen Communication Solutions (M) Sdn Bhd, overseeing solution consulting and business solution teams for contact center and unified communication solutions. In 2016, they joined Dimension Data as the Head of Professional Services for Customer Experience (CX) and Collaboration, and later became a Senior Solution Architect, managing solution consulting teams and driving high-value solution selling. Kiew Peng then moved on to Sabio, where they served as the Head of Solutions and Head of Sales from 2019 to 2021, focusing on contact center solutions and major account management. Most recently, Kiew Peng Lau worked at Activeo as the Regional Sales Director, responsible for improving customer service efficiency through business consulting, system integration, and software development. Kiew Peng is currently serving as the SVP of Customer Engagement & Digital Workplace at Toku.

Kiew Peng Lau has a diverse education history. Kiew Peng completed their MBA with a focus on Business Re-engineering and Strategic Forecasting at the University of Leicester in 2000. Prior to that, they obtained a BE in Electrical Engineering from UNSW between 1991 and 1994. Their prior education includes a Higher School Certificate from Marist Brothers High School in 1990 and an SPM from Sultan Abdul Samad from 1984 to 1988.

In addition to their formal education, Kiew Peng Lau has also obtained several certifications. Kiew Peng completed the UNSW Career Discovery Mentoring Program in November 2022 and the Learn to Lead with UNSW program in September 2021. Furthermore, they hold the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services, which they obtained in May 2020.
