Philip Marshall

Philip Marshall has a long and varied work experience. Philip began their career in 1991 as an Operations Engineer at BHP. In 1992, they moved to Spark New Zealand, where they worked as a Mobile Network Engineer and Research Engineer. In 1997, they were appointed Director Engineering at Bell Atlantic. In 2000, they joined The Yankee Group as a Senior Research Fellow. Finally, in 2010, they co-founded Tolaga Research, where they currently serve as Chief Research Officer. At Tolaga, Dr Marshall provides premium market and industry research with a strong quantitative focus. Before founding Tolaga, they had been an Executive at Yankee Group for nine years, and had led its service provider technology research globally.

Philip Marshall obtained a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Auckland between 1988 and 1996.
