Shannon Jones

Shannon Jones, MBA, MPH, currently serves as the Deputy Health Commissioner and Interim Health Commissioner at the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department since November 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing operations and acting as executive officer to the Board of Health. Shannon's prior roles involve leadership positions in health promotion, business development, and marketing for various healthcare organizations, including director roles at Horizon, Newland Medical Associates, and Advanced Specialty Hospitals of Toledo, demonstrating expertise in market growth, strategic planning, and public relations. Shannon holds a Master's degree in Public Health-Administration from Bowling Green State University and an MBA in Health Care Administration from The University of Findlay, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from The University of Toledo.
