Anna Marley serves as the Director of Curatorial Affairs at the Toledo Museum of Art since September 2024. Concurrently, Anna is a member of the Graduate College External Advisory Board at the University of Delaware, where a focus on advocating for graduate education is key. Anna has been involved with the Smithsonian Archives of American Art Journal as an Advisory Board Member since 2019 and holds the position of Chair Emerita at the Association of Historians of American Art since February 2015. Previously, Anna held various roles at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, including Chief of Curatorial Affairs and Vice President of Museum Research and Scholarship. Other notable positions include serving on the Advisory Board for the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center at Vassar College and enriching the academic environment at the University of Delaware as a Visiting Professor and earlier as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Art History from the University of Delaware, a Master’s in Art History Museum Studies from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College.
