Rhonda Sewell

Director Of Belonging And Community Engagement at Toledo Museum of Art

Rhonda Sewell currently serves as the Director of Belonging and Community Engagement at the Toledo Museum of Art, a position held since April 2021, focusing on fostering a culture of belonging and enhancing community outreach. In addition to this role, Rhonda is the Creator and Principal of Rhonda Has Spoken, LLC, and the Founder and Principal of RBS Consulting, LLC, both established in 2020. Previously, Rhonda held various leadership positions at the Toledo Lucas County Public Library from 2006 to 2021, culminating in the role of Director of External and Governmental Affairs. Rhonda’s career began as a journalist at The Blade, where tenure lasted from 1988 to 2006. An experienced educator, Rhonda served as an Adjunct Instructor at Bowling Green State University. Rhonda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Michigan State University and pursued graduate courses in international journalism at City, University of London.
