Amerah Archer, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning different fields. Amerah currently holds a role as the Acting Executive Director of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) at Toledo Public Schools, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this role, they were a High School Science Teacher at the same institution from August 2013 to January 2023.
Amerah also has experience in research, having worked as a Research Assistant at The University of Toledo from August 2017 to May 2022.

Their educational journey began in 2005 when they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Pre-medicine at The University of Toledo. Amerah completed their undergraduate studies in 2009. Amerah then went on to earn a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Secondary Education and Teaching at the same university, which took place from 2012 to 2013. Building upon their previous degrees, they pursued further academic achievements and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Curriculum and Instruction, specializing in their chosen field, from The University of Toledo between 2017 and 2022.
