George Grimm

George Grimm is an experienced aviation maintenance professional with a diverse background in helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft maintenance. Currently serving as DME at both the Federal Aerospace Institute and Toledo Public Schools since February 2022 and September 2019 respectively, George also holds the position of Director of Maintenance for Life Flight at Mercy Health - St. Vincent's Medical Center, overseeing the Maintenance Department and Part 135 Certificate since June 2014. Previous roles include various mechanic positions at St. Vincent Life Flight, West Michigan Air Care, and Air Methods, with significant responsibilities in daily, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on A109E and AS365 helicopters. George's career began in the United States Marine Corps as a CH46E Helicopter Crew Chief, coupled with extensive educational qualifications including an A&P License and specialized aviation maintenance training.
