Stephen Patterson

Stephen Patterson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Stephen began their career at Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas, where they worked as a Food Runner from April 2012 to May 2014. In 2014, they interned as a Kaizen Intern at Yokohama Tire Corporation from May to August. Patterson then joined Virginia Tech Department of Mechanical Engineering as a Grader from January to May 2015. Simultaneously, they worked as a Cook at Virginia Tech Dining Services from January to May 2015. Stephen has been with Tolin Mechanical Systems since September 2015, initially serving as an Operations Coordinator until March 2019. From April 2019 to January 2022, they worked as a Service Manager and subsequently transitioned into the role of Operations Manager in January 2022.

Stephen Patterson attended Virginia Tech from 2011 to 2015 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. In August 2011, Patterson received an A+ Certification from CompTIA. In April 2015, they obtained a Wilderness First Aid certification from SOLO Wilderness Medical School. Most recently, in March 2019, Patterson completed the Project Management Level 1 certification from the Rocky Mountain Mechanical Contractors Association.
