Thomas Knudsen

Thomas Knudsen has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Currently, they serve as an Advisor at A.P. Moller Capital and Nine Realms, starting in 2022. In 2018, they joined Rumah Group as the Director of ESG & Impact Investing, where they focused on asset management, impact investments, and philanthropy. From 2018 to 2022, Thomas held multiple positions at Toll Group, including Non-Executive Chair, Non-Executive Director, Managing Director, and President. Prior to that, they worked at A.P. Moller - Maersk for many years, with notable roles such as Damco CEO - Asia region, Maersk Line CEO Asia Pacific Region, and Maersk Line East & Central China Managing Director. Thomas also has experience as a Student and Associate Professor at IE Business School and served as a Sergeant in the military at Forsvaret.

Thomas Knudsen began their education history in 1992 when they studied Arabic Language and Culture at The American University in Cairo. In 2003, they attended INSEAD and completed the Young Managers Program, focusing on Business. The following year, in 2004, they took a Supply Chain Management course at Cranfield School of Management. In 2007, they pursued an Executive Masters degree in Supply Chain Management at IE Business School.

In 2013, Thomas attended the Harvard Business School Executive Education and completed an Executive Program in Business Administration and Management. In 2016, they participated in Harvard Business School Online and completed a course in Disruptive Business Strategy.

Continuing their education in recent years, Thomas obtained a Certificate in Corporate Governance from INSEAD in 2021. In 2022, they pursued further studies in sustainability, earning a Sustainable Business Strategy certificate from Harvard Business School Online. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Sustainability Finance from the same institution. Finally, in 2023, they completed a course in Alternative Investments focused on Banking and Financial Support Services at Harvard Business School Online.
