Austin Kottke has a diverse range of work experience in software development and engineering. Austin started their career in 1998 as a Flash Developer at Future Engine. In 1998, they also participated in the Yaroze training program at Sony Computer Entertainment of America, where they learned 3D mathematics and programming. From 2001 to 2005, Austin worked as an Internet Web Designer/Developer at BPI, creating and maintaining web sites and conducting e-mail and web promotions. Austin then joined Gold as an A/V Software Engineer, where they developed a high-definition bookstore system using Flash and C++. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Senior Internet/RIA Developer at ILO, creating various products using Flex, Java, AJAX, and Hibernate. In 2010, Austin worked briefly as a Flex Software Developer at Panache, debugging client video players. Austin then joined Animated Designs, LLC as a Lead Flash/Actionscript Engineer from 2010 to 2012, where they performed updates to kia.com using the PureMVC flash framework. Austin served as the CTO/IOS Engineer at Bunny Eyes Apps, LLC in 2014, building an iOS application with heavy filters, video, and photo manipulation using OpenGL pixel shaders and open source graphics libraries. Since 2012, Austin has been working as a Principal Software Architect at TollFreeForwarding.com, building VOIP/Chat/SMS Soft Phones for various platforms and utilizing technologies such as QT C++ UI, Windows Dev, OSX Dev, WebRTC, AS3, Java/Android/NDK, and AngularJS.

Austin Kottke attended Van Nuys High School from 1997 to 1999 and received a High School Diploma. During their time at Van Nuys High School, they studied various subjects including Marketing, Art, Theatre, and Programming.
