Gary Tucker has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the engineering and geology fields. Gary began their career as a Part Time Inspector at Sigler, Winston, Greenwood and Associates, Inc. in 1987. Gary then worked as a Geologist and Surveyor at Teledyne Exploration, Inc. from 1987 to 1989. Gary continued their career at McBride-Ratcliff and Associates, Inc. as a Field Geologist from 1989 to 1992. Gary then joined Raytheon Engineers & Constructors, Inc. as a Project Scientist from 1992 to 1996. Gary next worked at Earth Measurement Corporation as a Geologist from 1996 to 2000. Currently, Gary holds the position of Chief Geophysicist at Tolunay Wong Engineers, Inc., a role they have held since 2001.
Gary Tucker attended Texas A & I University from 1983 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology. Additionally, they have received several certifications throughout their career. In September 1994, they became a Certified Professional Geologist from The American Institute of Professional Geologists. Later, in August 2003, they obtained a Professional Geologist certification from the State of Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists. Lastly, in December 2017, they obtained another Professional Geologist certification, this time from the State of Louisiana Board of Professional Geoscientists.
