Stone sculpture, unlike other art forms, are intended to be viewed from all sides.  presenting different elements as the light changes. Sculptures are a sophisticated type of artistic expression. I love three dimensional images, intriguing curves, angles and texture. As a life-long collector I've developed a strong appreciation of exceptional art, which I incorporate into my sculptures. 

Artists are fundamentally at one with the art we create. Everything we do is a sum of all our experiences, how we see the world around us, and what we find aesthetically and visually interesting. I’ve developed a vast knowledge of art and art history, which encourages my own creativity, and helped me become a confident sculptor. I understand colour, balance, and how to present different images, textures, and shapes. My sculptures are an expression of my life and artistic experiences, and are an extension of my knowledge about what transforms a sculpture into a successful artistic statement.
