Tom J. Kelly

Tom J. Kelly is an experienced cinematographer and colourist with a diverse background in film and television production. Currently operating under Tom J Kelly - Cinematographer & Colourist since May 2010, Tom has contributed to various notable projects including work with BBC Sport from July 2020 to December 2024, focusing on feature content for BBC News and BBC World. Additionally, Tom served as a colourist on the feature film "Quintessentially British" in 2022, and worked as a cinematographer on "A Place In The Sun" and as a shooting director on multiple feature films, including "Haunted Hotel" and "Jurassic Island." Experience also includes directing TV commercials for major brands such as Mercedes-Benz and Mitsubishi Motors between 2015 and 2018, and operating cameras for Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club from 2011 to 2017. Tom holds a Master of Arts in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from the University of Staffordshire and a Bachelor of Arts in Visual and Performing Arts from the University of Brighton.
