Gautham Venkateshwaran

Gautham Venkateshwaran is a dedicated individual with a strong background in software engineering and leadership. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Intern at Toma since March 2025, Gautham has also been the Events Director at UBC BizTech since October 2024, where responsibilities included organizing a successful interview skills workshop for over 200 attendees. Between September 2021 and June 2024, Gautham co-presided over Alberta's leading VEX robotics club, mentoring more than 100 students and contributing to team success with the 2024 Provincial Excellence Award and qualification for two World Championships. In 2023, Gautham co-founded Calgary's largest High School Hackathon with the Churchill Robotics Team 2024. Additionally, Gautham's teaching experience includes serving as an Assistant Teacher at Spirit of Math Schools Inc., where instruction was provided to grade 3 students at an advanced level. Gautham is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at The University of British Columbia, anticipated to graduate in April 2028.
