TOMAGWA is a Christian ministry that, by the Grace of God and in response to the Love of Jesus, provides quality health care, offers hope and restores dignity to uninsured, low-income families and individuals in the Tri-County region. TOMAGWA stands for Tomball, Magnolia and Waller Texas. Facts: According to the Texas Medical Association: • The uninsured often seek health care in the emergency room of their local hospital. • The cost of providing health care to the uninsured is passed on to taxpayers, the insured, employers, and the owners / operators of the various service points. • With the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, more than 30 million people remain uninsured, 6 million in Texas alone, and more than 1.5 million of those in the Tri-County area serviced by TOMAGWA. -Figures from the U.S. Congressional Budget Office
