Avidail Campagne

Avidail Campagne retired from Special Forces in 2022 after 31 years of Army service.

In 1991, Mr. Campagne enlisted in the Army as an infantryman, serving with the 82nd Airborne Division and 2nd Infantry Division. He was selected for Special Forces in 1997 and was assigned to 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) in 1998, where he served until his retirement in 2022. Mr. Campagne conducted numerous combat deployments in support of the Global War on Terror, including deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Additionally, he participated in the campaign to defeat ISIS with deployments to Qatar, UAE, and Iraq.

Mr. Campagne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Thomas Edison State University. His military awards include the Legion of Merit, six Bronze Stars Medals—one with valor device—four Meritorious Service Medals, the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, and numerous other unit and individual awards.
