Jed R. Goff, a native of Waycross, Georgia, retired from the United States Navy in April of 2020.
He enlisted in the Navy in 1999 and graduated from Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training in 2003. Mr. Goff finished his career as a Senior Chief Special Warfare Operator (SEAL) and served the special operations community at several commands, including SEAL Team One, located in San Diego, CA; Naval Special Warfare Development Group, located in Virginia Beach, VA; and Naval Special Warfare Training Detachment Three, located in Oahu, HI. Previously, Mr. Goff was assigned to the Warship USS Duluth LPD-6 in San Diego. During his tenure, Mr. Goff conducted 14 combat deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and various other missions worldwide. He has received many combat commendations including the Silver Star Medal, the Bronze Star Medal with combat valor, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, four Joint Service Commendation Medals with combat valor, two Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals with combat valor, three Presidential Unit Citations, and numerous other joint and individual awards.
After retirement, Mr. Goff accepted the position of Program Manager at Tomahawk Strategic Solutions and is dedicated to helping both the public and private sectors better protect themselves and the communities in which they serve. Mr. Goff holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida.
