John McKenzie

John McKenzie serves as a program manager for Tomahawk and is its lead executive protection specialist.

Mr. McKenzie is an experienced security professional with a career that spans nearly three decades of national and international protection services conducted in the military, law enforcement, diplomatic, and corporate security sectors. Mr. McKenzie specializes in security and risk analysis involving high and low-threat VIP close protection. Additionally, he has developed and supervised several mid and large-scale protective security details in the U.S. and abroad.

Mr. McKenzie holds numerous instructor qualifications—most notably, advanced ground defense tactics, protective security operations, firearms, and defensive driving. Prior to his executive protection career, he served as a U.S. Army paratrooper, assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division, and as a North Carolina police officer and state trooper. Mr. McKenzie enjoys working with clients to identify their security-related needs and provide custom-tailored solutions to mitigate risk. He is a graduate of the Police Law Institute from North Carolina’s Justice Academy.
