Summer Intern: Product Development

THE POSITION:

TomboyX is recruiting a Product Development Intern for the summer of 2022. Our Product Development Team executes all the Sourcing, Development, Technical Design, Production and Quality Control activities for the company. Our intern will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of creative and hardworking individuals who can teach you the fundamentals of Product Development and prepare you for the next step in your career. You will focus on projects that build core skillsets in all of the Product Development functional areas as well as learn about cross functional dynamics and building connections inside an apparel company that is at the forefront of inclusivity and sustainability.

College students and recent graduates are invited to join us for a summer defined by the celebration of diversity, innovation, creativity, and collaboration under at one of the most exciting and groundbreaking companies in apparel. You will contribute first-hand to ongoing projects and build a relationship with our brand and its values.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Learn and contribute to the complete Product Development process for our incredible collection of Bras, Underwear, Lounge, Sleep and Active.

• Assist the team with ongoing projects as well as new product creation.

• Work in our BeProduct PLM system

• Interact with factories on production scheduling and Quality Control issues

• Interact with fabric mills, trim suppliers, and factories to exchange information and get samples

• Take part in fit sessions to better understand how we finesse the way our garments fit

WHO YOU ARE:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Preferred proficiency in Excel with the understanding of how to navigate through general computer systems

• Highly organized and self-motivated to get projects done

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Professionalism and attention to detail

• Commitment to our core company values around diversity and inclusion

• Recent graduates or undergraduate students currently enrolled in 4-year degree program; rising juniors and seniors preferred

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
