Andy Chen

Andy Chen is a co-founder of Outcast Ventures, a talent-first venture capital firm focused on investing in early-stage companies. They previously had a diverse career, including roles as a mechanical engineer and a science analyst at the CIA, where they provided intelligence to senior policymakers. Andy helped establish a leading tech recruiting firm in the Bay Area and served as a partner at Kleiner Perkins, contributing to investments in numerous iconic companies. Currently, Andy is also an investor and board member for various startups, dedicating time to support innovative entrepreneurs. In addition to their professional pursuits, they serve on the boards of the San Francisco SPCA and Challenge Success and enjoy hands-on projects in their garage.
