Girardy Momplaisir

Girardy Momplaisir has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2018, they worked as a Research Intern at Brooklyn College under Dr. Sophia N. Suarez. In 2019, they joined The Rolling Drones Robotics Team at Midwood High School as a Programmer/Graphic Designer, where they built robots using metal, 3-D printers, and Java software for FIRST competitions. In 2022, Girardy became a Sustainability Intern at ECOBUILD, where they analyzed project life cycle assessments and researched environmental impacts associated with building construction. They then worked as a Software/Mechanical Engineer at Tomestic, where they created a hybrid publishing and information technology medium that integrated augmented reality, video, and animation. Currently, Girardy is employed as a Data Entry Clerk at Dental Recycling North America, where they perform data entry and analyze equipment waste for recycling potential.

Girardy Momplaisir's education history begins in 2016 at Midwood High School, where they completed their Advanced Regents High School Diploma. Afterward, in 2020, they enrolled at New York University, where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering degree with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering.
