Cole Leishman

Cole Leishman has over 6 years of work experience in the outdoor industry. In 2015, they began working as a Warranty Technician at Far Bank Enterprise, where they used Oracle ERP software to process customer repair orders and provided customer service to solve customer problems. In 2016, they worked as a Sales Associate at REI, where they arranged new merchandise with signage and appealing displays to encourage customer sales and move overstock items. Cole also assessed customer needs and upsold products and services to maximize sales. In 2018, they began working as a Professional Guide at Emerald Water Anglers, LLC, where they lead guided fly fishing trips on waterways around Western and Central Washington for guests around the country. Cole also managed inventory of the brick and mortar location, managed social media, content creation, marketing, class instruction, and event planning. That same year, they began working as a Professional Guide at Deneki Outdoors, where they guided for all five species of Pacific Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden, Grayling, and others on the Kanektok River in the greater Kuskokwim Bay area. Cole also operated and maintained jet boats, camp facilities, etc. and collaborated with other members of the team to find solutions to the many problems experienced by a remote Alaskan wilderness camp. In 2020, they became the Owner of Rain City Outfitters, where they were responsible for all duties of small business management including inside/outside sales, client management, customer service, marketing, social media, accounting, and website management. Cole also provided a safe and fun experience during fly fishing trips and set pricing structures according to market analytics and emerging trends. In 2021, they began working as a Program Manager, Marketing, and Special Projects at R.L. Winston Rod Co., where they managed the design and supply chain of the company's merchandise program, fielded customer service calls, and provided a positive experience. Cole also consistently posted and managed the company's social media pages. Currently, they are a Marketing Manager at TOMIS.

Cole Leishman attended Western Washington University from 2012 to 2016 and obtained a BA in Business Operations Management.
