Kara Canda

Kara Canda currently serves as the General Manager for Tommy Bahama, overseeing operations at the Houston Galleria and Katy Mills Outlet since July 2019. Previous experience includes significant leadership roles at AMERICAN EAGLE OUTFITTERS INC., achieving over 18% business growth as a Store Manager and ranking among the top 100 stores nationally. Kara also held positions as District Group Leader at Payless ShoeSource, Store Manager at Ross Dress for Less and Old Navy, and Department Manager at Nordstrom, where duties included training and developing teams and improving key performance indicators. Educational qualifications include a BS in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University and an Associate of Arts in Merchandise Marketing from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.
