Fernando Azevedo Pinheiro

Fernando Azevedo Pinheiro has a diverse work experience that includes roles as a COO, co-founder, interim COO, and entrepreneur. Fernando has worked for various companies in different sectors, including digital health, finance, online ventures, and construction. In their most recent role as COO and co-founder of Tomorrow Biostasis GmbH, they focus on advancing and educating in the field of Biostasis. Prior to that, they co-founded Missella.com.br and served as the COO. Fernando also worked as an interim COO at finpass, where they improved core company processes and led the company through rebranding and fundraising. Before that, they co-founded and served as the Managing Director of CARZAR.co.za. Fernando has also held leadership roles at Easy Taxi Africa, Easy Taxi Brazil, and Rocket Internet AG. Fernando started their career as a planning and production engineer at Construtora Passarelli Ltda, where they managed a sanitation contract in Rio de Janeiro. Fernando also worked at Neofreak as a project manager and at Engevix Engenharia S.A. as an intern in contract management. Throughout their career, Fernando has demonstrated a strong ability to scale up operations, manage teams, and drive growth.

Fernando Azevedo Pinheiro completed their education in two institutions. From 2004 to 2009, they attended the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, where they pursued a degree in Production and Civil Engineering. In 2011, they enrolled at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and completed an MBA in Executive Business Administration with an emphasis in Management in 2012.
