Alexander C. Wallstein

Alexander has a unique mix of engineering, product development, strategy and life-sciences in his resume. His real passion is innovation to fill an unmet need and that is why he is excited about the prospects of optoacoustic imaging in cancer diagnostics and image guided interventions.

Prior to joining TomoWave, Alexander was the COO of DIH, the global leader in neuro-rehabilitation robotics. He prepared the company for IPO and focused the 400 employee organization on customer value and sustainable growth. Before that, he was a vice president at Medtronic including 2.5 years based in China leading Commercial Operations. He also worked at Johnson & Johnson (Biosense Webster, cardiac ablation) in strategic portfolio planning (R&D roadmap) and Danaher in their dental platform in business development (M&A). He also spent 5 years at McKinsey&Company as consulting team leader in aerospace, automotive and life-sciences.
