Jon Calder serves as Chief Executive Officer at Tompkins Wake, leading a firm of over 200 staff, including 35 partners and more than 125 legal specialists. Since taking on this role in January 2016, Jon has fostered a strong organizational culture, resulting in the firm's Rainbow Tick certification in 2018 for its commitment to gender equality. Additional leadership roles include Co-Chair of the CEO and Managing Partner Forum at Multilaw, Trustee at St Paul's Collegiate School, Director at Board Dynamics, Foundation Board Member at Agenda Waikato, and former Chairman at Locus Research. Prior executive experience includes CEO of the New Zealand National Fieldays Society and General Manager of NZ Bus. Jon boasts an MBA from The University of Waikato and several executive education programs at prestigious institutions, including Harvard and Stanford.
