Bill Steinmetz

Bill Steinmetz has held various positions throughout their work experience. Bill began their career as a Software Engineer at ABB in 1991, and later transitioned to become a Lead Software Engineer at the University of Rochester - Laboratory for Laser Energetics. In 1997, they joined Questra Corporation as a Principal Consultant before moving to Element K Corp in 2001. At Element K Corp, they held multiple roles including Manager of Software Development, Director of Web Development, and ultimately became the CIO. In 2012, they joined RGHS as the Senior Director of End User Support and Chief Security Officer. Currently, they are working as the Vice President of Information Technology Services at Tompkins Financial Corporation since 2013.

Bill Steinmetz obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from SUNY Brockport, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Bill then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Operations and Information Technology at the University of Rochester - Simon Business School from 1994 to 1997.
