Patxo Torre

Patxo Torre is an experienced engineering manager and data scientist currently leading a data science team in Map Analytics at TomTom since May 2023. Prior to this role, Patxo served as Lead Data Scientist and Data Scientist at JUMP DATA-DRIVEN VIDEO between August 2021 and May 2023. Previous positions include Data Scientist roles at Geoblink from September 2020 to August 2021 and BBVA from September 2019 to September 2020, where a notable project involved developing a machine learning tool for predicting prices of banking products. Additionally, Patxo worked as a Data Scientist at Management Solutions, focusing on projects in the banking sector to detect duplicated templates and analyze user traffic on a Cloudera cluster. Patxo holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad del País Vasco, complemented by an Erasmus Programme experience at Sapienza Università di Roma.
