Nelson Tavares

Nelson Tavares has extensive experience in CNC machining and programming, currently serving as a Cell Lead at TOMZ Corporation since July 2020. Prior roles include Programmer/Setup at Deringer-Ney Inc., where specialization in micro-machining and tight tolerances utilizing various alloys was a focus from May 2018 to July 2020. Nelson has also contributed as a Prototype Programming Specialist at Stanadyne LLC from 1997 to May 2018, leading advanced CNC machining and programming efforts. Earlier in the career, Nelson was involved in machine repair at Bennington Tool Inc. from 1995 to 1997. Education was completed at Porter and Chester Institute from 1994 to 1995.
