Darren MacDonald

Darren MacDonald is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Tonal since September 2024, Darren previously held the position of Chief Customer Officer at Petco, where responsibilities included overseeing digital initiatives, marketing, customer care, and data science. Prior experience includes serving as the Chief Digital and Innovation Officer at Walmart US eCommerce and the VP & Group General Manager of Entertainment. Darren also contributed to Jet.com as the SVP & General Manager, a key player during its acquisition by Walmart. Additionally, Darren founded Ingress Capital, held a CEO role at IAC/Pronto, and was involved in strategic roles at Avery Dennison and EMN8. Academic credentials include a BA in Rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
