De Castro Maleiane is an experienced Human Resources professional with a strong background in legal and industrial relations management. Since January 2007, De Castro has held various managerial roles at Tongaat Hulett, focusing on wage negotiations, labour conflict resolution, legal implementation, and the creation of policies and regulations. Prior experience includes a brief tenure at Banco ProCredit Mozambique, handling wages, disciplinary proceedings, recruitment, and contracts, and serving as a Senior HR Technician at the Ministry of Education Mozambique, where responsibilities included managing a database for teachers and public workers, organizing information, and liaising with the government on budget matters for teacher recruitment. De Castro holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Human Resources from Universidade Católica de Moçambique and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Management from the University of South Australia.
